Goal Getter Series
In the last blog, I wrote about why it’s important to write down your goals and in this article I’m telling you why you should speak your goals.
You might not have known this but there is power in your words. That’s right. There is life and death in your tongue. (Proverbs 18:21). That means your words have the power to bless you or curse you.
The first step to developing a wealthy mindset is to develop a healthy mindset. Just like writing them down, when you say your goals out loud you are speaking positivity and optimism into your life and into the things you want out of life. You are speaking with certainty and authority. This is why you must speak your goals into existence.
Billionaire PA wants to change 1 billion people’s lives with 1 simple message: speak your dreams into existence. He says it’s ok if your pockets are broke, just make sure your mind makes “cents”.
I speak my goals into existence through affirmations. If you don't know what an affirmation is, affirmations are powerful positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes. Most days I wake up affirming out loud that "today is a great day to have a great day, and I am going to have a great day!".
Speak your dreams and goals into existence in the form of affirmations and meditate on them daily. I teach how to do this in my Goal Getter Workshop. By the way, you are invited to join me for the next workshop. If you would like to get a head start on goal setting, the Goal Getter Guide and Planner is the perfect resource for you.
Looking forward to helping you set goals #likeaboss
Stay tuned for Part 3!
